Annual Toy Drive

Christmas does not have to be empty

Each winter, the Charlene Reaveley Children’s Charity runs a toy drive collecting new, unwrapped gifts for children aged 0-18yrs.

The toy drive was created because Charlene loved every minute of the holiday season by watching her children open their gifts from Santa and she shared in that excitement.  Charlene would often donate gifts to the less fortunate in her community.  Now, many families are blessed with gifts donated by the community and the legacy of Charlene continues.  The toy drive collects new, unwrapped toys for children aged 0-18yrs.

The annual Toy Drive is always looking for your support to help us help others.  Ways you can help:
  • collect new, unwrapped toys for children aged 0-18yrs
  • you know a location or business that is willing to join us in bringing smiles to children’s faces this holiday season by hosting a box to collect toys
  • join us at the wrapping event and wrap and sort gifts
  • donate supplies such as paper, tape and gift boxes
  • donate snacks and drinks for the volunteers at the wrapping event

We can offer you advertising on our website, signage for the bin, flyers, and a chance for you to be a part of a wonderful event.

THE 2016 TOY DRIVE

We would like to thank everybody that helped make the 6th Annual Charlene Reaveley Children’s Charity Toy Drive a success!

From the businesses that started collecting toys in November to the volunteers that helped to wrap and deliver we are so very grateful to everybody that gave of their time and/or donated to this annual event.

A special thank you to our primary toy drive sponsor, Maple Ridge Chrysler who generously donates every year and helps to ensure that the gifts are delivered by providing a vehicle.

With your help we received and wrapped an incredible 1928 toys that were then delivered to children throughout many communities. The joy and appreciation that was expressed by the recipients was heartfelt.

On behalf of all of us at the Charlene Reaveley Children’s Charity Society, we would like to express how truly thankful we are with the support received at this years’ 6th Annual Christmas Toy Drive.
